District 5330 - Reach Within to Embrace Humanity

Rotarians...Who Are We?

The Rialto Rotary Club was chartered on March 18, 1948.  With over 64 years of continuous community and global service, the Club has contributed an average of $20,000 per year to local, national, and global projects.  Ongoing projects include the Global Eradication of Polio and safe drinking water projects through the Rotary Foundation; medical, orthopedic, dental, and optical to poor citizens of Mexico; and Rialto Unified School District Student Literacy, music education, speech competition, and scholarships/student leadership programs.

In addition, the Rialto Rotary Club has assisted the community with wheel chairs, thrift store for academically challenged and special needs students, Bike Patrol, students to Washington D.C., Child Assistance League, the City of Rialto Parks and Recreation Department sound system, children's Rowdy Room at the Rialto Library, and much more.  Funds are raised each year through different events. For information on these events, click the
Special Events tab or text RialtoRotary to 37404 on your smartphone.

Our members are local business men and women who enjoy each other's company as they work hard together to make a difference.  The Club meets each Tuesday at noon, at the El Kiosco Restaurant in Rialto, where each week an interesting program/speaker is presented.  For a schedule of programs/speakers, click on the
Programs tab.

Photos of the "Run Whatcha Brung XVIII" Car Show, Downtown Rialto, California
It was a beautiful day for the Rotary Club's annual car show on June 11, 2011.  The event is held in downtown Rialto and includes hundreds of show cars, dozens of vendors, great food, and good music. Congratulations goes to Mr. Glen McElroy for his Best in Show 1924 Dodge pictured as the first slide below.  Thank you to Rotary member Chuck Comstock for sharing his photos of the winner's parade.
